This aerial journey begins and ends at San Marcos Regional Airport, offering a seamless blend of natural landscapes, small-town charm, and city highlights.

You’ll first soar over the city of San Marcos, where the San Marcos River winds through historic downtown, before heading northwest toward the turquoise waters of Canyon Lake, framed by rugged limestone cliffs.

The tour continues over Wimberley, known for its cypress-lined Blanco River and rolling hills, then onward to Dripping Springs, often called the “Gateway to the Hill Country,” where oak groves and natural springs shape the landscape.

From there, glide over Lake Travis, where expansive blue water meets surrounding hills, followed by a pass over the Pennybacker Bridge, its striking steel arch spanning the lake below.

As you approach Austin, the skyline comes into view along with the Texas State Capitol, offering a unique aerial perspective of the city. The route then heads southeast to the Circuit of the Americas, where the racetrack’s distinctive layout and observation tower stand out against the countryside.
